In Canton, landscape supply yards usually price bulk material by the cubic yard and charge a delivery fee by distance, so measure the area first: one cubic yard of mulch covers about 100 square feet at three inches deep. Across Georgia, small-engine repair shops get backed up in early spring, so service mowers over the winter. Many yards and feed stores close earlier on weekends. Check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating, and call ahead to confirm stock and delivery days.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Gantt Feed & Seed at (770) 475-1709; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 30 reviews, which is a strong result for a feed store in Canton and suggests consistent service.
Canton is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Canton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I'm not sure how many decades Gantt's has been in business, but it is still family owned and operated and I LOVE this place and the people. I go a couple of times per week to get hay and their hours are so convenient. They are open Monday to Saturday until 6 pm. And they are the best people!

Gantt's is a great store, it's a little like walking back in time to go in there, don't let the inside throw you off though. They have traditional feed and seed, straw, fencing materials, etc. In the spring all the local gardeners come to get their seeds. They have good prices and are helpful if you ask, they assume you know what you need so ask if you have a question. We use them for fertilizer, lime, seed, straw, etc.
